Sailorcarbon

SENSHI IDENTITY: Sailorcarbon, the Senshi of the Element Carbon
REAL NAME: Maneshi Kurokongou (means Copycat Black Diamond)
AMERICAN DUB NAME ^_^ : Mandy Curio
BIRTHDATE AND SIGN: March 25, Aries
SENSHI COLORS: Light baby blue and black
TEAM: A member of the Elemental Senshi

WEAPONS AND ATTACKS: Sailorcarbon is the keeper of the Carbon Sledehammer, a large hammer with a red handle and a humongous diamond on the top that is shaped like a soccer ball. The facets of the diamond have 6 sides each.
  • Faceted Crush: Carbon yells, "Faceted Crush!" and spins the Sledehammer in her hand, then slams it against the ground. Many pieces of black graphite carbon caught up in a diamond dust cloud emerge from the hammer and fly toward her target. When this cloud reaches the enemy, it crushes in on them with great pressure. Not only does this hurt the enemy, but it produces diamonds!
  • Carbon Copycat: This attack can be used to copy and add to the attacks of others. When someone else's attack is coming toward her, Sailorcarbon says, "Carbon Copycat!" and slams the Sledgehammer against the ground with both hands. The head of the hammer sucks up the approaching attack. Then Carbon spins the hammer and slams it into the ground again, saying the name of the attack that she just captured, while adding something extra to it. For example, if she captured "Sparkling Wide Pressure," she could say, "Sparkling Wide Crush," and produce a crushing effect with Jupiter's attack. It gives any attack an extra kick and/or more specific focus.
DESCRIPTION: Sailorcarbon wears the fuku of the Elemental senshi, which is similar to the original senshi fuku with a few differences. The Elemental fuku has a jacket with long sleeves that sometimes goes over a bodysuit, but other times is by itself as a top, as it is for Carbon. The front of the jacket has the usual front bow on it, except that Carbon's has a 6-sided diamond in the middle, with her symbol engraved into its surface (C). Senshi without a bodysuit would have an exposed midriff, like Sailorcarbon. Elemental gloves only come up to the wrist, and the jewels in the choker and tiara are triangular in shape. The rest of the outfit is pretty much the same as the original fuku. Sailorcarbon's jacket is white, her collar and skirt are baby blue, and both of her bows are black. Her hair is dark brown, done up in two perky ponytails that stick up. Carbon's ponytail holders are diamond bands. Her eyes are dark blue. The jewel in Carbon's black tiara is white, and her choker is the same. The shoes that she wears are slip-on sandals with just one broad white canvas strap that goes across the toes; the strap has diamond beads across it. The soles of the sandals are tan.

PLACE IN THE SILVER MILLENIUM: The Elemental senshi were from various planets, and they each held the power of a different element from the Periodic Table. Sailorcarbon was from Mars. When the solar system was attacked, many of the Elementals died in the battle. Their souls were sent to the future with the others, but unfortunately, some of their souls were mixed with those of other senshi in their reincarnated bodies. This usually produced a confused, easily manipulated senshi because of the resulting bipolar nature of their personalities. Evil can be a disastrous influence on them. Sailorcarbon was one of these mixed up senshi (as Carbonecchi). There is a special twist to her existence as Carbonecchi, which will be revealed in episodes 13-15.

OCCUPATION: Maneshi is a student at Cherry Blossom College.

AGE: 18

EXTRA: Carbon's guardian is a red fox named Gogyou (whom she nicknamed "Gogog."). She started out as a Dark senshi, Sailorcarbonecchi .

SCIENCE STUFF: Carbon is distributed very widely in nature; it is found in abundance in the sun, stars, comets, and atmospheres of most planets. Carbon occurs naturally in nature in three allotropic forms: amorphous, graphite, and diamond. The graphite form is often used for fuel (coal). Carbon is also used in archeological dating. Ironically, the graphite form of carbon is one of the softest known substances, while the diamond form is one of the hardest. Carbon can also be used to make duplicates of documents (remember carbon paper?).
